Cardiologist - Preventive Cardiology

Heart, Vascular & Thoracic Institute

The Heart Vascular and Thoracic Institute at Cleveland Clinic is seeking a Preventive Cardiologist (MD) with expertise/experience in diagnosis and treatment of cardiac patients with lipid disorders, HTN, metabolic syndrome or chronic kidney disease. Experienced (preferred) or fellowship trained in preventive cardiology welcomed. Patients come from all over the United States and the world for the advanced diagnosis and innovative treatments offered by the department. Our expert cardiologists collaborate with other Cardiology specialists and cardiovascular surgeons to manage outpatient and inpatient patients with complex multisystem disease in a comprehensive and highly effective manner.

This position will provide expertise in Preventive Cardiology. Clinical responsibilities will include working within a multispecialty outpatient clinic based in Preventive Cardiology and serving as the attending on hospital service as scheduled. There is ample opportunity for research as well as providing education of fellows and residents. A faculty appointment at a rank commensurate with experience is available at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University.

The salary range displayed in this job posting reflects the anticipated salary range for new physicians hired into full-time (100% FTE) positions. This range is generally aligned with or below the 50th percentile of nationally recognized compensation benchmarks by specialty. A successful candidate's actual compensation will be determined in accordance with fair market value, considering factors such as professional experience, clinical expertise, board certification, work history, and FTE. This stated range excludes the value of Cleveland Clinic's comprehensive benefits package, which includes healthcare, dental, vision, retirement, and other offerings.

Pay Range

Minimum salary: $428,000

Maximum salary: $639,000
