Prevention Specialist (2087)
Location: Danville, VA 24540
Type: Prevention Services Division
Degree: Bachelors
RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the supervision of the Prevention Program Manager, Prevention Specialist implements prevention programs for youth, parents, and families. Programs are implemented in the community, office, faith-based, corrections, and school settings. Work community tabling events. Provides presentations to the public and works with community partners on strategies to meet community needs.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Requirements
M1: Bachelors degree
M2: At least one year of related work experience with youth and/or families
M3: Valid drivers license and safe driving record
Fingerprints, State and FBI criminal record reports, drug test, and central registry (CANIS) report will be required upon request.Our Agency maintains a drug-free workplace.
