Position Summary:
Oversees production, ensuring goals, quality, and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
  • ensuring production targets, quality standards, and safety expectations are consistently met.
  • oversees digital press operations, workflow execution, staffing, and coordination with upstream and downstream departments
  • Supervise, coach, and develop press operators and support staff
  • Hands on support will work with press crews to troubleshoot print issues as well as press repair for 3 large digital web presses.
  • Provide daily production updates including downtime and press issues.
  • Ensure print quality and affirms unit counts and matching ISBN protocol
  • Will be responsible for making schedule and quality decisions throughout the shift

Requirements
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years supervisory experience
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Strong understanding of Digital printing processes, workflow, and equipment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication across the organization
  • Basic computer skills (ERP systems, production tracking, reporting)
  • Ability to work flexible hours and required overtime
