Job description

The Automatic Press Assistant helps setup the automatic press, unloads garments, and helps to clean
the press. The Automatic Press Assistant reports directly to the ProPrint Manager.
Abilities Required
  • Read & understand English
  • Be familiar with industry language and terminology.
  • Ability to effectively and comfortably communicate with co-workers.
  • Ability to work at a very fast pace.
  • Ability to pull at a rate of 70 dozen shirts per hour.
  • Be able to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Be comfortable on your feet for the duration of your shift.

Specific Responsibilities
  • Assist Press operator in setting up the press.
  • Unload garments from press and place on dryer belt.
  • Clean & maintain the press.

Key Performance Indicators
  • Consistently showing up for work on time and putting in extra time when required.
  • Maintaining 99% accuracy on orders.
  • Pull 70 shirts per hour.
  • Hitting and maintaining mutually agreed upon daily, weekly, and monthly production metrics.
