Job description

Mancan Medina is seaching for an Automatic Press Operator for a Steel Company in Valley City, OH. 1st shift 6am-4:30pm Monday thru Thursday. Four-10 hour shifts with OT on Fridays. Based on experience starting $24/hr.
Position Summary-
May be required to set up and pull automatic dies in press.
Sets feed, shut height, conveyors, chutes and other needed items.
Understands and can learn how to check parts for hourly checks and / or approval.
Makes sure proper lubricant is being applied. Makes needed adjustments throughout run.
Also operates automatic press through the run.
Essential Job Functions-ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
May be required to set tools in the press so jobs are ready to run safely and efficiently.
Loads coils on reel or in cradle.
Threads metal strip from reel through feeder.
Communicates with co-workers and supervisor to receive instructions and coordinate activities.
Inspects and measures parts to maintain statistical process control charts.
Fill out appropriate paperwork in a timely manner.
Keeps work area clean and safe.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma
Between 6 months and 1 year of trade school, vocational education, work experience or apprenticeship.
