Position Summary:


ERock is seeking a dynamic and operationally focused manufacturing executive to lead the expansion of it's Houston manufacturing operations as Vice President Manufacturing & Production. This role will oversee production and manufacturing activities supporting the company’s engine and generator packaging business.

The VP will serve as the operational leader for the Houston site and will be responsible for scaling production operations, improving manufacturing efficiency, strengthening quality systems, and building a highly disciplined manufacturing organization capable of supporting rapid expansion.

This is a highly visible and business-critical leadership role requiring an individual who can operate effectively at every level of the organization, from executive leadership discussions focused on strategy, scalability, operational metrics, and financial performance, to direct engagement with shop floor teams driving execution, accountability, safety, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate must be equally comfortable leading through data, influencing cross-functional stakeholders, and building credibility across both corporate and production environments.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead day-to-day operations for ERock’s Houston manufacturing and production facility.
  • Oversee fabrication, assembly, integration, testing and manufacturing support functions.
  • Ensure manufacturing capabilities meet customer requirements for quality, responsiveness, cost, and delivery performance.
  • Drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement programs across all operations.
  • Lead manufacturing engineering and maintenance functions to ensure reliable, efficient, and scalable operations.
  • Ensure compliance with all environmental, health, and safety standards across manufacturing operations.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain, Project Management, and Field Operations teams to align manufacturing execution with business priorities.
  • Own manufacturing budgets, staffing plans, operational metrics, and productivity initiatives.
Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, or related discipline required.
  • 10+ years of progressive manufacturing and production leadership experience within industrial, energy, power systems, electrical equipment, or heavy manufacturing environments.
  • Proven experience leading complex manufacturing or fabrication operations in a high-growth or scaling environment.
  • Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, operational excellence, and production system management.
  • Hands-on leadership style with strong floor presence and ability to drive execution through teams.
  • Demonstrated success leading large operational teams and driving measurable improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
  • Experience with reciprocating engine manufacturing is highly desirable.
