Account Service Representatives are responsible for assisting Account Managers in the servicing and development of their clients'   P&C insurance programs and mentoring/assisting Customer Service representatives as needed. 

  • Issue "Special" Certificates of Insurance to include reviewing insurance contracts, according to company guidelines 
  • Manage CSR24 portal for clients, including setting up access and troubleshooting technical issues
  • Policy checking according to company guidelines
  • Process change requests
  • Process agency & direct bill non-premium bearing endorsements and direct bill premium bearing endorsements
  • Process bonds for clients
  • Online quoting with NCCI for assigned risk work comp policies 
  • Audit new/renewal monthly reports set up by Customer Service Representative to ensure accuracy
  • Review motor vehicle records 
  • Prepare mid-year reviews 
  • Prepare marketing files 
  • Complete loss summaries 
  • Prepare mod analysis 
  • Create and manage monthly reports for clients
  • Order loss runs from insurance companies and review for large losses/reserves
  • Provide high quality customer service
  • Gain knowledge on insurance industry through training and development opportunities
  • Assist P&C department with various projects and assistance as needed 

Requirements

  • BA or BS or applicable job experience
  • 1-3 years experience in P&C or related field
  • Must have strong Outlook, Word, and Excel Skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while adapting to changing deadlines and priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
  • Requires discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significanceÂ
