Job description

Precision Pipeline Line is hiring an Experienced Vac Truck Driver to work in natural gas pipeline construction / utility construction field. This position requires excellent communication skills and basic computer skills sets.
Essential Functions:
  • **MUST BE ABLE TO DRIVE A MANUAL TRANSMISSION***
  • Valid driver's license, CDL Class A or B and other requirements of company's driving policy required when driving company vehicle or using personal vehicle on company business.
  • Experience operating a vacuum truck.
  • Understanding of relevant safety regulations, such as OSHA standards and confined space entry procedures
  • Safely mobilize truck near desired hole, place in work mode per procedure, use remote to position boom, clamp dig tube onto boom, pull water hose to hole.
  • Operates heavy machinery, which is typically used in utility construction.
  • Document all work performed according to policy.

Requirements & Qualifications
  • 2 years of experience related to the operation of heavy equipment used in utility construction.
  • Must be able to drive a manual transmission.
  • Strong understanding of pipeline construction work. The ideal candidate will have experience working directly for natural gas, electrical and other utilities.
  • Ability to work successfully as part of a team as well as independently on occasion.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and respond to emergency situations.
  • Ability to travel throughout Precision Pipeline's operations in and around the Ohio area.
  • Maintain equipment and keeping it clean both inside and outside.
  • Self-motivated, good work ethic and ability to follow specific verbal/written instructions.
