Precision Machinist – Surface Grinding
Near Nashville, TN |  $20–$25/hr + OT

Join a leading precision shop specializing in machining and surface grinding. At Moeller Precision Tool, you’ll work in a clean, climate-controlled environment producing high-quality tooling components using modern equipment—including surface grinders, CNC mills, CNC lathes, manual machines, and EDM wire technology.

Pay & Benefits:
  • $20.00 – $25.00/hr (based on experience).
  • Overtime paid at 1.5× after 40 hours.

What You’ll Do:
  • Perform surface grinding setups (manual grinding, fixturing, blocks).
  • Execute precision machining of tool steel components.
  • Read blueprints and machine to tight tolerances.
  • Inspect parts to meet quality standards.
  • Work across machining and surface grinding operations.

What You Need:
  • Experience in machining (manual or CNC).
  • Hands-on surface grinding experience preferred.
  • Background in tool steel machining strongly preferred.
  • Blueprint reading skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude and basic math skills.
  • High school diploma or GED.

Preferred: Tool steel and Surface Grinding experience.
 
Schedule:
  • Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM – 4:30/5:30 PM (Mon–Fri).
  • 45–50 hours/week (OT Required).
  • Occasional Saturdays.
 
Location:
Just 15 minutes from Nashville with easy highway access, nearby restaurants, and housing options.
