Job description

Summary: Pre Sales Support Technicians are to be knowledgeable in all aspects of all Digital Ally products and services. They will directly work with outside and inside Sales Reps on new opportunities and customer deployments. They will assess the technical needs of an opportunity, design a back end solution, and deploy the solution in the field.
Skills:
  • Understanding of automotive vehicle wiring
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows based server operations
  • Experience with wireless networking, design, setup, & troubleshooting
  • Knowledgeable with firewalls, routers, switches, workgroups, domains, and activate directory.

Responsibility: Directly working with Sales, Pre Sales Technician are responsible all technical details of an opportunity. They will assess the opportunities needs, working directly with the customer, IT, and 3rd party vendors, to design a manageable, efficient, cost effective back end solution. The technician will deploy the sold solution, setting up servers, networking needs, and Digital Ally products. They will coordinate the onsite installation between all parties involved, overseeing the deployment process to completion.
Members of the Pre Sales Team are to be self-motivated, professional, and well organized. Travel to the customer's location, company tradeshows, and offsite meetings and presentations will be required. Employee must maintain a presentable appearance at all times.
