Job description

Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized, personable, and clinically minded Clinical Assistant to serve as a direct extension of our primary provider and a liaison for our patients. This is not a traditional MA role—this position blends patient-facing hospitality with real-time clinical support and provider coordination.
You'll be responsible for preparing treatment rooms, managing clinical inventory, scribing/charting visits, tracking the daily schedule in real time, and ensuring patients are guided smoothly through every phase of their appointment. This is a dynamic, fast-paced role ideal for a licensed Medical Assistant, phlebotomist, or pre-health student (pre-PA, pre-nursing, pre-med) with a strong interest in aesthetic medicine.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as clinical support and right hand to the provider throughout the day
  • Scribe/chart patient visits in real time using EMR, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Turn over rooms and ensure inventory is prepped for each treatment
  • Track daily schedule and brief provider regularly on timing and patient status
  • Review intake forms and prep for patient appointments
  • Communicate between provider and front desk for seamless patient flow
  • Guide patients through their visit with warmth and professionalism
  • Provide post-treatment guidance and ensure a smooth, elevated experience
Ideal Candidate
  • MA certification or pre-health academic background
  • Must have phlebotomy experience
  • Strong clinical knowledge or interest in aesthetic procedures
  • 1+ year experience in a med spa, dermatology, plastic surgery, or wellness setting preferred
  • Comfortable with EMRs and medical terminology
  • Able to multitask and stay on top of changing needs in a fast-paced day
  • Personable, proactive, and detail-oriented
  • Must be available on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays (8:30am–5:30pm)
