Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal
We are a top-tier plaintiff personal injury firm seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our fast-paced, high-performance team. This role is ideal for a self-motivated professional with a strong track record in personal injury litigation who thrives under tight deadlines and complex case management.
This is not an entry-level position. Only candidates with substantial litigation experience should apply.
Responsibilities
- Manage complex personal injury cases independently from pre-suit through trial
- Draft and proofread pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and client correspondence
- Prepare, organize, and review medical records, depositions, and trial exhibits
- Summarize medical records and deposition transcripts for attorney review
- Maintain detailed litigation calendars, monitor deadlines, and ensure compliance with court rules
- Coordinate with clients, experts, opposing counsel, and court personnel professionally
- Maintain and organize electronic and physical case files with precision
Qualifications
- Minimum 3โ5 years of personal injury litigation experience; trial experience strongly preferred
- Proven ability to handle a high-volume caseload while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong understanding of Michigan court rules and civil procedure
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized, independent, and proactive
- Experience with Practice Master and Worldox preferred, but not required
