Job description

Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal

We are a top-tier plaintiff personal injury firm seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our fast-paced, high-performance team. This role is ideal for a self-motivated professional with a strong track record in personal injury litigation who thrives under tight deadlines and complex case management.

This is not an entry-level position. Only candidates with substantial litigation experience should apply.

Responsibilities

  • Manage complex personal injury cases independently from pre-suit through trial
  • Draft and proofread pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and client correspondence
  • Prepare, organize, and review medical records, depositions, and trial exhibits
  • Summarize medical records and deposition transcripts for attorney review
  • Maintain detailed litigation calendars, monitor deadlines, and ensure compliance with court rules
  • Coordinate with clients, experts, opposing counsel, and court personnel professionally
  • Maintain and organize electronic and physical case files with precision

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3–5 years of personal injury litigation experience; trial experience strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to handle a high-volume caseload while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of Michigan court rules and civil procedure
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized, independent, and proactive
  • Experience with Practice Master and Worldox preferred, but not required
