Veterinary Practice Manager
Alton Main Animal Hospital - Santa Ana, CA
Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same-and where pets, people, and leadership all come together? At Alton Main Animal Hospital, we're searching for an experienced veterinary technician ready to take the next step (or the next leap) into a leadership role as our Practice Manager.
This isn't a sit-behind-a-desk kind of management job. You'll be on the floor supporting our doctors, mentoring our team, and making sure every patient and client experience is top-notch. If you're the type who leads by example and loves helping others succeed, you'll fit right in here.
What You'll Do
  • Lead from the floor: Deliver outstanding patient care and client service while setting the tone for the team.
  • Partner with leadership: Work closely with our Medical Director and Regional Director to ensure the hospital thrives-clinically, operationally, and financially.
  • Coach and empower: Train, mentor, and support team members in real time to keep workflow smooth and morale high.
  • Delight clients: Handle client communications with empathy, professionalism, and a touch of warmth that makes them feel at home.
  • Keep things running seamlessly: Manage schedules, inventory, and budgets with a strategic eye (and maybe a little love for spreadsheets).
  • Build culture: Foster an environment where the team feels supported, appreciated, and excited to come to work.
