Job description

PPC Strategist
Remote I Full-Time I $65k - $75k Depending on Experience
About Mannix Marketing
Mannix Marketing is a digital marketing agency with 30 years of experience (yes, we're older than Google!) in helping businesses thrive online. We provide comprehensive digital marketing solutions, including website design, SEO, social media marketing, content creation, and paid advertising strategies. Headquartered in Upstate New York and operating as a fully remote team, we pride ourselves on our consultative approach.
About the Role
We are looking for a PPC Strategist who can own paid media from strategy through execution. This is a full-time remote role working across a range of client accounts in industries like boat dealers, senior living, tourism, manufacturing, and non-profits. If you've spent time managing the same accounts on repeat, this is a different kind of seat. Our client mix is genuinely varied, and the work reflects that. Clients are primarily small- to mid-sized businesses, which means you're building real relationships and making decisions that actually move the needle for them, rather than waiting on approvals from six layers of stakeholders. You'll manage campaigns across Google, Microsoft, Meta, and LinkedIn, with full ownership of performance outcomes, including directing contractors and using AI tools to support execution. Strong client-facing skills are essential, as you'll work closely with account managers and communicate directly with clients on a regular basis.
What You'll Do
  • Lead client meetings, deliver performance updates, and maintain ongoing communication to build strong, consultative relationships.
  • Own campaign strategy end-to-end, directing contractors and leveraging AI tools to support execution and implementation.
  • Develop and manage paid advertising campaigns across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta (Facebook and Instagram), and LinkedIn Ads.
  • Optimize for conversions, CTR, ROAS, and cost efficiency through ongoing testing and data analysis.
  • Manage conversion tracking and analytics through Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and platform pixels.
  • Partner with account managers and clients to ensure campaigns are aligned with business goals.
  • Stay current on platform updates, algorithm changes, and emerging PPC trends.
What We're Looking For
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience managing PPC campaigns for small-to-mid-sized businesses across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta Ads, and LinkedIn.
  • Proven experience in a client-facing role, with the ability to build relationships, lead meetings, and communicate PPC performance clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong copy-writing skills with the ability to write ad creative that converts.
  • Proficiency in conversion tracking, audience segmentation, and re-targeting strategies.
  • Ability to analyze campaign data and translate it into clear recommendations.
  • Experience managing client accounts across multiple industries.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment while staying aligned with team strategy.
  • Must be located within the continental United States.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship, now or in the future.
What We Offer
We want this to be a place where you can do your best work and feel good about where you work. Here's what comes with the role:
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Simple IRA with a 3% dollar-for-dollar company match
  • Paid time off starting at 12 days per year and increasing with tenure, up to 30 days for long-term team members
  • Flex time available for life appointments and personal needs
  • 9 paid holidays, with the option to swap for a cultural or religious holiday that matters to you
  • Fully remote, work from wherever you do your best thinking
  • HeyTaco peer recognition program is a small but genuine way teammates appreciate each other
