Job description

The Power Platform Intern position is in support of the Leidos Chief Information Office supporting the Enterprise Applications team. Interns will be assigned tasks that are relevant and necessary to the successful execution of Leidos Information Technology roadmap. Leidos will provide the candidate with real-world experience and technical and career mentorship throughout the internship. As a member of the Enterprise Applications team, this position may support a broad set of IT solutions that are key enablers to the Leidos business mission.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a member of the CIO's Enterprise applications teams, typical intern assignments could include
  • Support to IT solutions throughout the software lifecycle
  • Tailoring an intern's position to their individual strengths and experience to include: understanding and documenting user requirements, implementing software solutions, tailoring and configuring commercial solutions to meet business needs, documenting test results, responding to user questions, integrating and presenting data.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science or Business intelligence or a related field with a Minimum GPA 3.0.
  • Position is a full-time summer intern
  • Quick learner, able to adapt to changing technologies and priorities
  • The ideal candidate will have demonstrated leadership ability through community or campus involvement
  • Prior experience or classroom training related to software engineering, cybersecurity, technology, business management,
  • Project management or IT support is preferred
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Basic familiarity with MS Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate, and Dataverse
  • Experience with web development (HTML, Java, CSS, json)
  • Hands-on experience with SQL language, MS SQL Server, building tables/views, and overall general SQL scripting
