NetImpact Strategies is seeking an experienced Microsoft Power Platform Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and supporting scalable business applications and automation solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform.

The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on expertise in Power Apps, including both Canvas and Model-Driven applications, along with experience across Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL Server, and Microsoft 365. This individual will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate complex requirements into intuitive, secure, and high-performing solutions that improve productivity and streamline business processes.

The Power Platform Specialist will serve as a technical subject matter expert, establishing development best practices, recommending solution approaches, and supporting applications throughout the full development lifecycle.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain custom business applications using Microsoft Power Apps, including Canvas and Model-Driven applications.
  • Translate business and functional requirements into scalable technical solutions using Microsoft Power Platform technologies.
  • Design intuitive, responsive, and user-focused application interfaces that provide a seamless user experience.
  • Develop and maintain data models using Microsoft Dataverse and integrate applications with SharePoint, SQL Server, Microsoft 365, and other enterprise data sources.
  • Design and implement automated business processes and workflows using Power Automate.
  • Integrate Power Apps with Power Automate, Microsoft 365 services, APIs, and external enterprise systems.
  • Develop advanced application functionality using Power Fx, JavaScript, SQL, and other applicable technologies.
  • Design and develop Power BI reports and dashboards that provide meaningful and actionable business insights.
  • Clean, transform, and model data from multiple sources to support reporting and analytics requirements.
  • Develop interactive and user-friendly Power BI visualizations and integrate reporting capabilities with Power Platform solutions.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for Microsoft Power Platform, providing technical guidance on solution architecture, application design, scalability, security, performance, and development best practices.
  • Participate in requirements gathering sessions and collaborate with business users, product owners, developers, and other stakeholders to define solution requirements.
  • Manage solutions throughout the full application lifecycle, including requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, troubleshooting, maintenance, and enhancement.
  • Troubleshoot application, workflow, integration, and performance issues and implement appropriate resolutions.
  • Establish and follow Power Platform development standards, governance practices, and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) processes.
  • Evaluate existing applications and processes and recommend enhancements that improve usability, performance, maintainability, and business value.
  • Incorporate user feedback and evolving business requirements into existing applications and solutions.
  • Stay current with Microsoft's Power Platform roadmap, emerging capabilities, and industry best practices and recommend opportunities to leverage new functionality.
  • Support multiple concurrent initiatives while effectively managing priorities, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations.
QualificationsRequired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or Associate degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Extensive hands-on experience designing and developing custom business applications using Microsoft Power Apps, including Canvas and Model-Driven applications.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Dataverse, including data modeling, tables, relationships, security, and application integration.
  • Experience integrating Power Platform solutions with SharePoint, SQL Server, Microsoft 365, and other enterprise data sources.
  • Hands-on experience developing automated workflows and business processes using Power Automate.
  • Experience designing and developing reports, dashboards, and data models using Power BI.
  • Proficiency with Power Fx, JavaScript, and SQL to support advanced application functionality and integrations.
  • Demonstrated ability to design scalable, secure, responsive, and user-focused business applications.
  • Experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into technical designs and working solutions.
  • Experience supporting solutions throughout the complete software development lifecycle, including development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and enhancement.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex application and integration issues.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400) certification.
  • Experience implementing Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) practices for Microsoft Power Platform solutions.
  • Experience working with Power Platform solutions, environments, deployment pipelines, source control, and release management.
  • Experience developing custom connectors and integrating Power Platform solutions with external APIs and enterprise systems.
  • Knowledge of Power Platform security, governance, performance optimization, and enterprise development best practices.
  • Experience working within Agile development environments and collaborating with cross-functional product and development teams.
  • Previous experience supporting Federal Government customers or federal consulting engagements.

The posted salary range for this role is $108,000-122,000. The posted salary range is not an exact indication of the actual compensation offered and is instead a range of what NetImpact, in good faith, could compensate at the lowest and most high end of the salary market. In general, NetImpact may not pay the top of the salary range. Compensations are determined by several mitigating factors including skillset, experience, trainings, location, and other factors including benefits packages.
