Job description

Adecco Staffing is working with a sheet metal manufacturing company in Nashua, NH to bring on a Powder Coat Operator. This role supports the finishing department and requires a high level of attention to detail. This position is lower priority, and the team is comfortable waiting to find the right candidate with the proper skill set and experience.

Position: Powder Coat Operator
Shift: 1st Shift, 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Pay: $20.00–$23.00 per hour, depending on experience

Duties / Responsibilities
• Prepare parts for powder coating, including cleaning, masking, hanging, and inspection
• Apply powder coat to parts per specifications using proper techniques
• Inspect parts before and after coating to ensure quality, coverage, and finish
• Maintain strict attention to detail to meet appearance and quality standards
• Operate powder coating equipment safely and efficiently
• Load and unload parts into ovens and monitor cure times and temperatures
• Touch up parts as needed to meet quality requirements
• Follow all safety, quality, and standard operating procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized powder coat area
• Communicate defects or process issues to supervisors or team leads
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Prior powder coat experience preferred
• Experience in a sheet metal or manufacturing environment strongly preferred
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of finished product
• Ability to follow work instructions and quality standards
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Physical Requirements / Work Environment
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift, push, or pull parts throughout the workday
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, heat, and airborne particles
• Ability to wear required PPE

Pay Details: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour
