About the Role

ATP North America LLC is seeking a skilled and dependable Coating Line Operator to operate, monitor, and maintain coating line equipment to ensure the production of high-quality materials. This role is critical in meeting daily production goals and requires strong attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and a commitment to continuous improvement.


Key Responsibilities

Machine Operation & Monitoring

  • Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and product specifications.
  • Monitor process variables to ensure products meet performance and quality requirements.
  • Load raw materials and unload finished goods according to the bill of materials.
  • Maintain accurate production records and equipment logs.
  • Meet daily output goals by adhering to production schedules.
  • Participate in operator-led preventive maintenance activities to ensure efficient machine operation.

Quality Assurance

  • Perform in-line quality checks using designated measuring devices.
  • Adjust processes as needed to address quality concerns and maintain machine performance.
  • Report any equipment or measuring device malfunctions that may impact product quality.

Continuous Improvement & Leadership

  • Collaborate with the Coating Line Manager to optimize product settings, improve efficiency, and reduce scrap.
  • Support team members and act as a machine lead when required.
  • Train coating line helpers to ensure proper workflow and productivity.

Safety & Housekeeping

  • Follow all safety, health, and housekeeping guidelines.
  • Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace and uphold facility safety standards.

Qualifications

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

Professional / Related Experience

**** Must Have Coating Experience ****
  • 5โ€“10 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment as a machine operator or helper.
  • 2โ€“4 years of machine operator experience.
  • Preferred: Experience in the PSA (pressure-sensitive adhesive) or tape industry.

Skills & Physical Requirements

  • Basic reading and math comprehension.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Capability to stand, walk, climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl for 12-hour shifts.
