Job description

We are currently seeking an experienced Powder Coat Painter to join our manufacturing team on 3rd shift. This position is responsible for preparing, coating, and finishing metal components to meet quality and production standards. The ideal candidate will have previous powder coating experience, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare metal parts for powder coating by cleaning, masking, and inspecting surfaces.
  • Operate powder coating equipment and apply coatings according to specifications.
  • Monitor coating thickness, coverage, and overall finish quality.
  • Load and unload parts from paint lines, racks, or conveyor systems.
  • Perform color changes and maintain powder coating equipment.
  • Inspect finished products for defects and ensure compliance with customer specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
  • Assist with other production duties as needed.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 year of powder coating or industrial painting experience preferred.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment.
  • Ability to read work orders and follow detailed instructions.
  • Familiarity with powder coating equipment, spray guns, and curing ovens.
