Job Title: Painter
Location: Colorado Springs CO 80916
Duration: 5 Months Contract
Max Pay: Competetive Payrate based on experience

Position comments:
Regular Monday-Friday schedule from 1:30pm- 10:00pm or 2:30pm-11:00pm and OT as needed.

Job Description :
Operates painting tools, measuring devices, spray booth and ventilation system with minimal supervision
• Perform routine and continuous painting operations for Military, commercial and dry film parts with minimal supervision
• Performs and understands NADCAP operations with some guidance
• Reads and follows work orders or standard work to perform Paint functions
• Understands quality criteria and quality notification with guidance
• Maintains clean and safe working environment in line with company policies
• It takes an active role to ensure Environment, Health, and Safety standards and procedures are met and complied with
• Looks for ways to eliminate safety hazards and improve the overall safety of the workplace
• Provides continuous improvement ideas
• Ensure quality product
• Audit work area for safety compliance
• Adhere to client's rules and codes of conduct
• Perform other duties as required and available for overtime as necessary
 
Required Skill Set :  
• 0-1 years relevant job experience in a paint shop or experience in a manufacturing environment Skills Required:
• Ability to mask, hang, powder coat, unhang & inspect parts under supervision
• Ability to understand and perform to quality criteria for appearance
• Conduct inventory as directed to ensure raw materials and supplies are available
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings & work instructions
• Ability to read blueprints with some supervision
• Basic mechanical knowledge.
• Basic Computer Skills
• Basic Shop Math Skills
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
• Willing to perform hand a
nd body warm-up exercises to minimize potential for repetitive motion injuries
• Must be able to work in a standing position up to 8 hours per day.
