Job Summary
We are seeking an RN Manager to lead the Labor & Delivery and Postpartum Nursing Unit departments at a respected hospital in Davie, FL. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing daily nursing operations, supporting staff performance, ensuring high-quality patient care, and maintaining compliance with hospital and patient safety standards.

This is a full-time day shift leadership opportunity with no weekends required.Schedule:

  • Full-time
  • Day shift
  • No weekends

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Labor & Delivery and Postpartum nursing operations
  • Support and lead nursing staff in a fast-paced hospital environment
  • Coordinate patient care services and department operations
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines
  • Assist with staff development, scheduling, and performance management
  • Maintain a collaborative and patient-focused work environment

Requirements:

Active Florida RN license or Compact RN license required

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program
  • BLS certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • ACLS certification required or obtained within required timeframe or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • NRP certification required or must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
  • Current STABLE certification or must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date
  • Current Intermediate Fetal Monitoring or Advanced Fetal Monitoring or must be obtained within 60 months of employment
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BSN preferred
  • Experience in nursing administration preferred
  • Prior supervisory experience in a hospital setting preferred
  • Strong hospital and patient care experience preferred
