Post Acute Reviews are evaluations conducted after a patient leaves an acute care setting, such as a hospital, to determine the appropriateness and quality of ongoing care in settings like rehabilitation centers, skilled nursing facilities, or home health care. These reviews help ensure that patients receive the right level of care and that their recovery is progressing as expected. They also assess the necessity and effectiveness of continued services, help manage healthcare costs, and support compliance with insurance or regulatory requirements.
