Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Sales Executive role based in St. Louis, MO. The Sales Executive is responsible for identifying and qualifying prospects, conducting in-person and virtual sales presentations, and managing the full sales cycle from initial contact through closing and follow-up. Daily activities include building and maintaining a pipeline, meeting with existing and prospective clients, preparing proposals and quotes, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure accurate product delivery and support. The role also involves tracking sales activities in CRM tools, analyzing customer needs, and staying informed about POS technology trends to position Cardinal Business Equipment’s solutions effectively. The Sales Executive is expected to meet or exceed sales targets while providing professional, consultative experience to all clients.

Qualifications
  • • Demonstrated skills in prospecting, lead generation, and pipeline management, with the ability to consistently identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • • Experience with consultative selling, solution-based sales, and negotiation, including the ability to tailor proposals to diverse customer needs.
  • • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to build trust and maintain long-term customer relationships.
  • • Solid organizational and time-management skills, including proficiency with CRM software and basic office productivity tools.
  • • Understanding of the types of restaurant software (eg, legacy, cloud, mobile & tablet, self-service kiosk, all-in-one vs integrated) is preferred but not required.
  • • Understanding of Point-Of-Sale solutions (e.g., touchscreens, printers, tablets, kitchen video, payment systems, reward programs) is preferred but not required.
  • • Ability to work on-site, travel locally to client locations, and adapt to a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • • Prior B2B sales experience is highly beneficial; a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but equivalent experience will be considered.

Compensation. Salary + Commissions. As a successful seasoned Sales Executive, you can expect annual income in the range of $90k to $120k
