Primary Purpose


To work with and support the store management team with daily operations of the store.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • ย Greet and acknowledge every customer, answer customer questions, and help customers find the location of products.
  • ย Assist with all daily operations of the store - including, but not limited to, merchandising, display presentation, maintaining signage standards, and monitoring inventory levels.
  • ย Train new associates on systems, procedures, and product knowledge.
  • ย Create and implement daily worklists and goals for store associates.ย 
  • ย Assume duties of the Store Manager and Assistant Store Managers when scheduled.
  • ย Open and close the store as needed and scheduled.
  • ย Assist in leading store meetings and store goals/objectives.
  • ย Answer incoming phone calls.
  • ย Constant radio communication with all associates.
  • ย Comprehensive knowledge of the products Coastal Farm sells.
  • ย Maintain an awareness of all product knowledge information and merchandise promotions.
  • ย Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance and store housekeeping.ย 

Other Duties and Responsibilities

  • ย Help in departments when needed.
  • ย Perform daily cleaning - such as, but not limited to, vacuuming, replacing full trashes with new trash bags, and sweeping the department floor.
  • ย Other duties assigned as needed.

Qualifications

  • ย 1 year of experience working in a retail environment.
  • ย Intermediate knowledge of Eagle Browser.
  • ย Experience working in different departments of the store.
  • ย Intermediate knowledge of operating a POS system.
  • ย Proven written and verbal communication skills.
  • ย Strong interpersonal skills.
  • ย Ability to adapt to rapidly changing work environments and to shift priorities accordingly.
  • ย Familiar with how to operate a computer system and email.
