LanceSoft, Inc. is seeking a Portfolio Analyst III for a contract role in Chattanooga, TN. The main purpose of the role is to collaborate with the financial organization to evaluate project benefits and ensure data accuracy for decision-making while monitoring project milestones and commitments.
Responsibilities:
• Utilize best practices, techniques, and tools for project planning, execution, project management, ongoing milestone and deliverable tracking, communication, and key performance metrics.
• Under the guidance of a Senior Portfolio Analyst, collaborate with the financial organization to quantify project benefits in a way that enables objective evaluation of projects against company objectives and supports project approval decision-making.
• Also under the guidance of a Senior Portfolio Analyst, work with functional managers and project managers to ensure all required data for decision-making is complete, accurate, and readily available.
• Monitor and report status on milestone schedule commitments, resource commitments, and constraints.
• Responsible for performing IT project portfolio analysis for the benefit of other organizations. This includes developing applicable financial and field evaluations and providing final recommendations to the manager of the respective organization.
• Responsible for representing Administration and Information Services on agency-wide projects (typically less complex than those handled by a Senior Analyst) and/or supporting various committees (often including multiple corporate officers) established to resolve key business issues.
