Come join West Michigans premier pool and spa team! Zagers Pool & Spa is looking to add an experienced Maintenance Technician to our team. Industry experience is a plus but we are willing to train the right individual.
This is a full-time, year round position M-F with an occasional on call rotation. We are looking for candidates with pool maintenance experience. Candidates should be highly motivated, mechanically inclined, enjoy working outside and willing to learn. Candidates will have a neat, clean appearance and will be able to communicate effectively with customers and service team. Compensation based on experience.

Responsibilities as Maintenance/Service Technician:
  • Pool & Spa Maintenance
  • Perform Water Tests & Balance Chemicals
  • Vacuum and skim debris from pools/spa
  • Clean waterline, pumps and filters
  • Repair Pool and Spa equipment at the customers home
  • Open and Close Pools & Spas
  • Punctual and dependable, arrive at job site at schedules time and location as dispatched
  • Complete service work orders accurately and timely
  • Communicate with customer courteously and effectively
  • Work as a member of the Service Team
  • Will be able to use app based communication for work orders
Qualifications:
  • Willingness to invest time in training seminars and classes
  • Working knowledge of tools and operation of power and hand tools safely
  • Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
  • Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime
  • Ability to stoop, bend, kneel and lift at least 50lbs
  • Willingness to develop customer service skills
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Willing to work outside in all types of weather
  • Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
  • Neat and clean appearance
  • High School or GED graduate
