Pool Installation Foreman

Inch & Co. Outdoor


Position Overiew

The Pool Installation Foreman is responsible for leading and overseeing all phases of residential and/or commercial pool installation projects. This role manages crews, coordinates equipment and materials, ensures quality workmanship, maintains job site safety, and keeps projects on schedule from excavation through final completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead pool installation crews on active job sites
  • Coordinate daily project activities, schedules, and manpower
  • Read and interpret pool plans, layouts, and construction drawings
  • Oversee excavation, steel, plumbing, electrical prep, concrete, and finishing phases
  • Ensure all work is completed according to company standards, safety regulations, and local codes
  • Operate and oversee use of construction equipment and tools
  • Communicate with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and homeowners professionally
  • Monitor material usage and ensure job sites remain organized and efficient
  • Troubleshoot installation issues and provide solutions in the field
  • Conduct quality control inspections throughout each phase of construction
  • Train and mentor crew members to improve performance and workmanship
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget expectations
  • Maintain accurate daily job logs, progress updates, and safety documentation

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in pool construction, excavation, hardscaping, or related construction field required
  • Prior foreman or crew leadership experience preferred
  • Ability to read blueprints and construction plans
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of construction safety standards and OSHA practices
  • Ability to operate skid loaders, excavators, and other construction equipment preferred
  • Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with fiberglass, vinyl liner, or gunite pool installations
  • Plumbing and grading knowledge
  • Concrete, masonry, or landscaping experience
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills

Work Environment

  • Outdoor construction environment
