Shifts Available: Days
Employment Type: Full Time
Hours: 8-hour shift
Location: Riverview Regional Medical Center/Gadsden Physician Management - Gadsden, AL
We are seeking a Receptionist, also referred to as a Clinic Receptionist or Hospital Receptionist. The Receptionist is the first point of contact for patients and helps create a welcoming, organized, and professional clinic experience. This position supports daily front office operations by answering phones, greeting patients, scheduling appointments, collecting payments, and ensuring required paperwork is completed.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):
  • Greet patients and visitors in a friendly, professional manner
  • Answer incoming calls and direct patients, providers, and staff appropriately
  • Schedule and reschedule patient appointments following provider protocols
  • Collect co-pays, deductibles, and other payments according to company policy
  • Assist with paperwork, front office tasks, and other duties or special projects as assigned

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current
