The opportunity
Delaware North Gaming is hiring a part-time Cage Cashier to join our team at Daytona Poker Room in Daytona Beach, Florida. As Cage Cashier, you will handle a large amount of currency, cash checks, and redeem tickets, vouchers, and chips for guests.

What will you do?
  • Handle large sums of money, including validating tickets for guests, distributing cash to team members for jackpots and hand-pays, processing and verifying travelers' checks, approving and cashing checks, and cash advance services
  • Maintain an accurate count of banks
  • Perform regular cash buys for the Cage Supervisor
  • Issue and redeem chips; process chip fills and credits
  • Follow all departmental and state policies and procedures

More about you
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Six months' cash handling experience preferred; experience handling large amounts of money
  • Excellent math skills, including addition and subtraction
  • Basic computer skills
  • No high school diploma or GED required

Physical requirements
  • Ability to lift or carry 30 pounds
  • Exposure to secondhand smoke
