Job description

  • Responsible for team member scheduling, special requests, and PTO 

    • Responsible for preparing and conducting performance reviews 

    • Responsible for recommending, implementing and enforcing progressive discipline. 

    • Responsible for disciplinary and termination decisions in accordance with Company policy

    • Implements and manages processes and programs to effectively control and reduce loss time injuries.

    • Review and adjust staffing levels to maintain budgeted level of employment.

    • Development of staff, interviews, hires, and evaluates.

    • Review poker room activities and promotional status with Director of Poker.

    • Assists Director with monitoring and adjusting performance to local competition.

    • Be familiar with Title 31 guidelines, and understand and utilize suspicious activity reports for casinos (SARC) when necessary.

    • Have complete knowledge of all casino events and promotional activities, and assist as needed.

    • Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and Company policies in an ethical manner and empower and require others to do the same. 

    • Must be able to work a flexible schedule as required by business operations, including late nights, weekends, and holidays; shifts may change.

    • Perform other duties as assigned or reasonably requested by any member of management.

The Gaming Analytics Department is responsible for leading all analytical work related to table games, slots, poker and other gaming products. Our team works with table games and slots operational leadership, Shared Services (ESS Gaming), and property leadership (AGMs/GMs) to optimize the gaming floor and explore/test new products. Some of their activities include:
  • Gaming asset optimization: making recommendations for the types of table games and number of slot units necessary to satisfy demand.
  • Creating and updating recurring product performance models and reports
  • Advising gaming leadership: analyzing and reporting on the financial performance and profitability of table games and slot units on a monthly basis.
  • Assisting with ad hoc analyses
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Proficient in English verbal and written
  • Flexible to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a 1055 gaming license.
  • Five to seven years' experience as a poker dealer, supervisor, or poker floor person with a 4-year degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.  This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.  Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra and their applications. 
  • Gaming experience is required.
  • Ability to push and pull up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to lift and carry objects up to 10 pounds
  • Ability to bend, stoop, twist, reach, and kneel repetitively
  • Safely work with provided cleaning chemical and equipment
  • Ascend and descend stairs and maintain equilibrium for an extended period
  • Must be able to work from a standing position and/or walking motion for extended period
  • Ability to work in a smoking and pet-friendly environment
