POSITION TITLE: PMP Project Manager

COMPENSATION: Competitive salary DOE + bonus

LOCATION: Houston, TX

SUMMARY: The Project Manager is responsible for the overall planning, execution, monitoring, and successful completion of industrial, marine, civil, and construction projects. This role ensures projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with client requirements and company standards. The Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact for clients, field leadership, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

DUTIES OR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead all phases of project execution from initiation through closeout.
  • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
  • Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions to address schedule delays, cost overruns, or resource constraints.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements while promoting a strong safety culture.
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, vendors, superintendents, foremen, and project teams.
  • Manage project risks, identify potential issues, and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Review and approve project estimates, change orders, purchase orders, invoices, and subcontract agreements.
  • Track and report project progress, costs, labor productivity, and key performance indicators.
  • Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders and executive leadership.
  • Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout project execution.
  • Support business development efforts by fostering strong client relationships and identifying opportunities for future work.
  • Oversee project documentation, contract compliance, and project closeout activities.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, Project Management, Business, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in industrial construction, marine construction, civil construction, energy, petrochemical, manufacturing, or related industries.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of project budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, and cost control.
  • Experience managing subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
  • Knowledge of contract administration and changing management processes.
  • Proficiency with project management and scheduling software.
