LifeGift is currently looking for a Performance Improvement Coordinator. Are you someone that will support LifeGift in its effort to improve clinical and operating performance through diverse projects and high reliability initiatives. The coordinator will be exposed to the operations management in both organ and tissue departments and work collaboratively with other internal and/or external departments and locations, using lean performance improvement methodology and project management.


Do you possess the attributes to be a successful Performance Improvement Coordinator and perform the following essential functions?

  • Ensure work is completed using lean philosophy and principles.
  • Supporting the planning, set-up, execution, and follow-up of PI events and projects.
  • Assisting in writing reports, analyzing data, creating and interpreting data displays to support decisions on PI projects.
  • Collaborating with physicians, nurses, management, client groups, and others engaged in improvement initiatives to develop methods to monitor and report process improvement.
  • Assisting with developing presentations and documents that articulate a compelling story line through the effective use of data.
  • Assisting in the analysis and identification of opportunities for improvement with a goal to develop, recommend, and implement proposed solutions.
  • Executing time studies, process observations and other information gathering activities that support PI decision-making.
  • Provide leadership to tiger teams by evaluating, diagnosing, and recommending improvements in a collaborative manner via multiple short and long duration projects.


Do you have the education and experience to be a Performance Improvement Coordinator?

  • Degree in a work-related field/discipline from an accredited college or university and a strong academic record or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years work experience in healthcare QAPI field or other appropriate work experience for performance improvement. Prefer experience with Performance Improvement projects.
