About the Role: Vernovis is partnering with a leading energy organization to identify a Cybersecurity Project Manager to lead complex security initiatives across IT and business teams. This individual will manage multiple cybersecurity projects from initiation through delivery while collaborating with technical and business stakeholders to deliver secure, high-quality solutions on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle from initiation through deployment and closure.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including Infrastructure, Software Development, Data, Security, and Business stakeholders.
• Facilitate project meetings, status updates, and executive reporting.
• Identify project risks, issues, and dependencies and develop mitigation plans.
• Manage project scope and change control processes.
• Track project milestones and ensure deliverables are completed on schedule.
• Collaborate with vendors and third-party partners when applicable.
• Ensure adherence to project management methodologies and governance standards.
• Support process improvement initiatives and drive project management best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Project Management, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience managing IT projects.
• Strong experience with project management methodologies including Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or Hybrid approaches.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or Monday.com.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, timelines, and resources.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Agile certification.
• Experience leading cloud, infrastructure, ERP, cybersecurity, or application development projects.
• Experience working in enterprise environments.

Pay range and compensation package: USD 44.94 /hr - USD 63.13 /hr.
