Job Summary

The Procurement Program Management Office (PMO) plays a critical role in driving the Procurement organization's strategic results and continuous improvement initiatives.

The PMO is responsible for leading the development, implementation, governance, and ongoing execution of key programs and projects that support Procurement's strategic objectives. The individual holding this position will report directly to the Vice President Procurement of Hydro Extrusions and collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders across procurement, business area, business unit, and Hydro corporate teams.

What you will be doing

Business Planning, Performance Management & Reporting

  • Lead the governance and coordination of the annual Business Plan for procurement across the Hydro Extrusion and business unit teams.
  • Develop, maintain, and communicate dashboards and performance reports that track procurement savings, key performance indicators (KPIs), and strategic initiative progress.
  • Ensure all projects and savings initiatives are accurately entered and updated in the performance management system (Provalido).
  • Monitor performance against objectives, identify risks and gaps, and collaborate with procurement team members to develop and implement improvement plans.

Development and Management of Procurement Initiatives and Tools

  • Jointly with VP Procurement, the PMO will develop, implement, and oversee progress of strategic Initiatives designed to improve the overall value delivered by the global procurement team
  • Ensure maintenance and usage of tools used by Procurement team. Types of tools include spend cube database, contract repository, sustainability reporting tools, savings tracking system, and SharePoint sites.

Leadership Collaboration and Communication

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across Corporate, Business Area, and Business Unit organizations to ensure alignment on procurement priorities.
  • Facilitate regular status reviews and communications with key stakeholders to provide clear visibility into progress and performance

Process Governance, Compliance & Training

  • Lead the development and implementation of Procurement policies, procedures, and governance frameworks across Hydro Extrusions.
  • Coordinate training and best practice sharing across Hydro Extrusion Procurement teams.
What will make you successful?

Required Education/Experience:

  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree or equivalent required, preferred emphasis in Program Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or related discipline
  • Minimum 15 years experience working in a Program Management Office (PMO) or equivalent Program or Project environment is required
  • Demonstrated ability to develop executive-level presentations, dashboards, and performance reports
  • Fluent spoken and written English skills

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

  • Masterโ€™s degree (MBA or related) is preferred
  • Program Management Certification is preferred (PMP, PMI, CAPM, or equivalent.)
  • Experience supporting procurement, strategic sourcing, or purchasing functions is strongly preferred

  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data and insights into actionable business recommendations
  • Proven abilities to develop and implement initiatives across teams
  • Experience leading and participating within cross functional project teams to achieve defined outcomes
  • Engaging personality, able to rally others to his/her vision
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Access, and SharePoint
  • Knowledge of SAP and PowerBI is a strong asset
