PLM Windchill Lead Consultant - Long Term Contract (W2) - US-based Remote
We are seeking an experienced PLM Windchill Lead Consultant to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in Windchill 12.X and be responsible for configuring, customizing, and integrating Windchill modules to support efficient product lifecycle management. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system performance.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Configure and customize Windchill PDM Link modules, including Change Management, Document Management, BOM Management, and others.
  • Develop and maintain Windchill workflows, lifecycle templates, and business rules to align with business needs.
  • Integrate Windchill with ERP systems and other enterprise applications for seamless data flow.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windchill performance, user access, and data integrity.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and end-users to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement enhancements.
  • Support Windchill upgrades, patch applications, and performance tuning activities.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, user guides, and training materials.
  • Ensure adherence to PLM best practices and product lifecycle processes.

Required Skills/Qualifications:
  • 6-8 years of hands-on experience with Windchill 12.X or higher.
  • Strong knowledge of Windchill modules, architecture, and core functionalities.
  • Proficiency in Java, JSP, XML, and Windchill APIs for custom development.
  • Experience with Windchill Business Rules Framework (BRF) and Info*Engine.
  • Familiarity with CAD data management, preferably with Creo.
  • Solid understanding of PLM concepts, including product lifecycle processes and data management.
  • Proven track record in integrating PLM systems with ERP and other enterprise tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with diverse stakeholders.
