Job description

As the first point of contact for prospective customers, the Sales Development Representative (SDR) is a key player in fueling the sales pipeline. This role will support sales efforts by identifying, qualifying, and contacting potential new customers for FairComโ€™s database software solutions.

When you join our team, you will gain experience in the next phase of the Industrial Revolution, Industry 4.0! You will work with the worldโ€™s first converged IoT & IIoT hub, FairCom Edge, a solution providing real-time data and seamless integration for manufacturers across the globe, as well as our data modernization product, RTG, and our core product, FairCom DB, an advanced database engine focused on reliability and scalability. This role is a perfect mix of technical sales and customer service with a trusted leader in database technology.

*This is an in-office position in either of our offices in Sandy, UT, or Columbia, MO, with opportunities for a hybrid schedule post-onboarding.

The Day-to-Day

  • Utilize Hubspot, LinkedIn, cold calling, and strategic email campaigns to generate new sales opportunities.
  • Maintain assigned leads as well as general industry contacts to manage the top of the sales funnel and allow for up-to-date sales data.
  • Schedule product demonstrations/technical discussions with Account Executives and potential customers.
  • Continually fine-tune persona-specific messaging to quickly explain the value proposition of FairComโ€™s database software solutions.

Requirements

  • At least 1-2 years of sales development or business development experience in the software development industry.
  • A clear communicator with experience in cold calling & making outbound phone calls and emails.
  • A minimum of 3 years of Customer Service experience.
  • Must have professional proficiency working with HubSpot and/or other CRM Systems
  • Must have professional proficiency working with Google Suite or Microsoft Office Suite.

Position Preferences

  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree from an accredited institution.
  • Experience with Inbound & Outbound Sales tools (Automation, Bots, etc.).
  • Experience with sales or customer service in the DBMS industry.
