Job description

Role Summary

phData is building an Executive Advisory capability to sit at the center of our Intelligence Platform and AI transformation work. This role exists now because our 2026 strategy depends on connecting data & AI platforms to real business value in the boardroom-and then making sure that strategy survives contact with delivery.

Reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO), you will shape and operationalize our AI and Intelligence Platform offerings, working across Sales, Client Engagement Model (CEM) roles, Practices, and Delivery. You will help define how we run phData on AI, deliver with AI, and grow through AI, while leveraging our multi-geo delivery model (US, India, LATAM).

This is a hands-on, builder role for a senior consulting leader who can move fluidly between executive strategy, offering design, deal shaping, and early-stage delivery to create repeatable, scalable patterns for the firm.

What You'll DoStrategy & Offerings ( 30% of time)
  • Define and refine the Intelligence Platform and AI advisory offerings.
  • Connect data platforms, analytics, AI/ML, and agentic workflows to clear business and financial outcomes (growth, efficiency, risk).
  • Shape how Advisory supports phData's 2026 AI strategy.
  • Codify successful approaches into frameworks, toolkits, and templates that are credible in the boardroom and actionable for delivery teams.
  • Monitor market and partner trends (Snowflake, AWS, etc.) to keep offerings differentiated and up to date.
Go-to-Market & Sales Support ( 25% of time)
  • Partner with Sales and CEM roles to shape and close complex, multi-phase Intelligence Platform and AI transformation deals.
  • Lead or support executive-facing discovery and framing conversations, helping crystallize the problem statement, value case, and transformation roadmap.
  • Design and package executive-facing offerings (e.g., CXO workshops, AI/Intelligence Platform briefings) that improve win rates and deal size.
  • Use advisory engagements to identify and qualify follow-on work across the Intelligence Platform stack.
  • Support commercial decisions on scope, phasing, and risk, balancing client value with margin and scalability, while respecting the commercial ownership defined in the CEM.
Delivery & Execution ( 25% of time)
  • Personally lead or co-lead key advisory and strategy engagements, including workshops, roadmaps, and executive readouts.
  • Ensure advisory work is tightly integrated with delivery, so recommendations are implementable by phData's core practices.
  • Help stand up early lighthouse programs that demonstrate the Intelligence Platform in action and capture patterns for reuse.
  • Hold a high bar for executive-ready outputs-structured, concise, financially grounded, and aligned to client strategic narratives.
Internal Enablement & Change ( 20% of time)
  • Equip field teams to position, sell, and deliver advisory and Intelligence Platform offerings through training, artifacts, and shadowing- including effective geo-leverage (US, India, LATAM).
  • Contribute to consulting methods, toolkits, and operating rhythms that raise quality and consistency across advisory and delivery.
  • Mentor senior consultants and managers on strategic thinking, executive presence, and storytelling.
  • Represent Advisory in internal forums, helping align strategy, GTM, and delivery around a coherent Intelligence Platform narrative.
What You'll Bring
  • 15+ years in data, analytics, AI, or technology consulting, with substantial time in senior advisory and/or delivery leadership roles.
  • Experience spanning Big 4 or global consulting and at least one smaller, high-growth, or AI-native firm.
  • Proven track record advising C-suite or senior business/IT leaders on data/AI strategy, investment decisions, and multi-year roadmaps, and seeing those strategies through into implementation.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and sell offerings: packaging services, pricing, positioning, and enablement for the field.
  • Strong commercial acumen: confident in deal shaping, value-based selling, and navigating trade-offs between growth, margin, and risk.
  • Ability to earn credibility with senior executives while rolling up your sleeves with solutions, delivery, and geo-distributed teams.
  • Comfort level with operating in high ambiguity with evolving structures, where you are helping to define the model rather than inheriting it.
  • Deep understanding of modern data platforms, analytics, and AI/ML, and how they come together as an enterprise Intelligence Platform.
  • Excellent storytelling, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills with senior business and technology leaders.
  • Nice-to-haves
  • Experience in PE-backed or high-growth environments.
  • Prior exposure to multi-geo delivery models (US, India, LATAM/nearshore)
