Job description


Job Title: Business Analyst - Product
Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting contract Business Analyst - Productwith our client located in Santa Clara, CA.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Support the Product, Quality, and New Product Introduction (NPI) Workstream Lead throughout the SAP ERP implementation lifecycle.
  • Document and maintain current-state and to-be business processes across:
    • NPIProduct Engineering
    • Product Quality Engineering
    • SKU Lifecycle Management
    • Manufacturing Test
  • Gather, document, and validate business requirements from Business Process Owners (BPOs), Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and key stakeholders.
  • Support requirements workshops, process reviews, and solution validation
  • Partner with SAP functional teams and business stakeholders to ensure requirements are accurately reflected in solution designs.
  • Review proposed solutions and identify gaps, risks, or process
  • Develop and maintain process flows, business scenarios, and testing
  • Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, including:
    • Test planning
    • Test script development
    • Test execution support
    • Defect tracking and resolution using XRay in Jira
    • Test status reporting
  • Ensure all approved solution designs are thoroughly tested and validated prior to deployment.
  • Good understanding of CPQ/CTO.
  • Perform data validation activities to ensure accuracy and completeness of migrated and converted data.
  • Support master data validation and reconciliation efforts related to planning and materials management processes.
  • Track and manage action items, issues, risks, and dependencies within the planning workstream.
  • Support business readiness activities, including process documentation, training support, and go-live preparation.
  • Assist BPOs and SMEs as they adopt new processes and system capabilities introduced through the SAP implementation.
  • Support deployment, hypercare, and post-go-live stabilization.

Job Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related
  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Supply Chain Analyst, Functional Analyst, or similar role supporting supply chain processes.
  • Experience working with one or more of the following areas:
    • Product Master Data
    • Bill of Materials (BOM)
    • New Product Introduction (NPI)
    • Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)
    • SKU Lifecycle Management
    • Product Quality Processes
    • Manufacturing Operations
  • Understanding of SAP S/4HANA manufacturing, product master, and quality management processes preferred.
  • Experience gathering business requirements and documenting business
  • Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect management, and business validation activities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to
  • Experience validating data and supporting data migration
  • Ability to work effectively with Business Process Owners, Subject Matter Experts, IT teams, and external implementation partners.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and organizational
  • SAP S/4HANA implementation
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery
  • Experience supporting Configure-to-Order (CTO) or build-to-order
  • High-tech manufacturing, electronics, networking, semiconductor, or data storage industry experience is a plus.
