Job description

Rockstar is recruiting for a forward-thinking fintech company specializing in AI-powered accounting and bookkeeping services. Our client is a dynamic startup that partners with SMB platforms to embed sophisticated financial tools, helping them deliver seamless, automated bookkeeping to their small business customers. They are a team of ambitious professionals focused on scaling innovative solutions through strategic partnerships.

The Role

As a Platform Partnerships Manager, the individual will own the post-sale execution that turns signed customers into live embedded accounting partnerships. They will work directly with SMB platform customers to launch their embedded accounting products and onboard their SMBs to AI bookkeeping services, ensuring customers are as successful as possible.

Key Responsibilities

What they do will vary from week to week, but key responsibilities include:

- Serve as the primary point of contact for SMB platform customers post-sale, owning day-to-day execution and follow-through

- Guide customers through planning, integrating, and launching accounting and bookkeeping powered by the platform

- Work directly with customers' sales & marketing teams to support GTM initiatives and drive early traction

- Onboard customers' SMBs to the AI bookkeeping services and ensure a smooth, high-quality experience

They will have the opportunity to learn a ton and take on as much responsibility as they can handle.

Skills & Experience

This role will suit strong generalists with a growth mindset. If they are invigorated by the idea of learning quickly, owning results and having a significant impact across all parts of a fast growing startup, this role is for them.

We're looking for candidates who are:

- Driven by impact - They consistently see the possibility in what could be. They like seeing the results of their work out in the world. They are energized when surrounded by others that share this ambition.

- Organized and structured - They approach problems methodically and systematize their approach into a repeatable, scalable process that doesn't drop important details.

- Biased towards action - They enjoy getting things done and are undeterred by setbacks. They actively seek to understand which problems are most important and they tackle those problems head on.

- Clear communicators - They are exceptional written and verbal communicators. They can efficiently and empathetically interact with everyone from customers, to teammates, to candidates.

- Strong presenters - They can give polished, professional presentations that engage and excite their audiences.

An ideal candidate will have a few years of experience in a role such as:

- Early-stage startup BizOps or Customer Ops

- Management consulting or investment banking with significant ownership of execution

- Any role that required exceptional independent execution and stakeholder management

Strength with tools like Excel, SQL, etc. is helpful, but the drive to be excellent and hunger to learn matters much more.
