What We're Looking For

BMW of Bridgeport has an opening for a full-time Internet Sales Coordinator. Seeking a self-starter with an upbeat personality who is detail-oriented with a professional appearance and excellent phone etiquette.

Must have experience working in a BMW dealership as well as BMW product knowledge or related experience. Must have exceptional verbal and written communication, customer service and time management skills. Play a key role in maintaining the stores’ reputation and image while showing a strong desire to serve our client’s needs. Ideal candidates will have the ability to multi-task in a fast paced work environment, are driven to succeed, learn and grow within the automotive industry.

As a BMW BDC Internet Sales Coordinator, you will be responsible for creating sales opportunities for the dealership. Opportunities are created via interactions with clients over the phone, through email or responder contacts.

Responsibilities:

  • Welcome, greet and assist clients in customer oriented manner
  • Introduce the client to the Client Advisor, explaining the nature of the visit and provide any pertinent information that informs the Client Advisor of the client’s primary needs
  • Obtain and record information about each client interaction, using the center CRM or sales control system
  • Assist to keep track of sales calls, numbers of ups, prospect data sheets or other records
  • Assist Sales Department in developing new business and leads through focused marketing efforts that may include, but are not limited to, portfolio relationship management, internet lead management, network affiliations and telemarketing.
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm for all products and services of the BMW franchise and be knowledgeable about the features and benefits of BMW products.
  • Manage portfolio to ensure that customers have a complete understanding of the lease-end process and drive client appointments
  • Answer incoming calls and inquiries, direct calls to appropriate personnel
  • Perform outbound sales calls and campaigned to generate sales opportunities
  • Contact unsold showroom traffic calls and other phone follow up work
  • Assist customers in any aspect of conversation in a pleasant and helpful manner
  • Increase customer satisfaction and loyalty by providing premium customer experiences and the highest level of customer care
  • Perform basic administrative and other duties as assigned
  • Provide support to service staff and managers as needed

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years’ experience in a BMW dealership
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Administrative support and/or telephone experience
  • Sales or other customer support background preferred
  • Effective communication skills a must
  • Ability to coordinate and complete multiple tasks simultaneously
  • High School Graduate or equivalent
  • Must be at least 18-years-old
  • Pass a 7 year criminal background check and drug screen
