Part-Time Art & Fashion Teacher | 2026-2027 School Year
Red Bank Catholic High School is seeking a creative, energetic, and student-centered Part-Time Art & Fashion Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. This position includes teaching semester-based courses, Monday through Friday, in Fashion Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, and Topics in Art.
The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm for visual arts, design, fashion, branding, and marketing, while creating an engaging classroom environment that encourages creativity, critical thinking, and student expression.
Teaching Assignments:
Fashion Marketing
Students will explore the world of beauty, style, promotion, and consumer behavior. The course introduces the basic functions of marketing and examines how these principles are applied within the fashion industry.
Fashion Merchandising
Students will study the role of branding, merchandising, and social media marketing in the fashion industry. The course will examine how companies differentiate themselves and how merchandising decisions impact brand identity and consumer engagement.
Topics in Art
This introductory art course is open to students of all experience levels. Students will study the basic elements and principles of design while developing foundational skills in artistic expression and visual communication.
Preferred candidates should possess:
  • A background in Art, Fashion, Marketing, Design, Merchandising, or a related field.
  • Teaching experience at the high school level is preferred.
  • A secondary art, fashion, or business certification is preferred; however, candidates who are in the process of obtaining certification or actively working toward it will also be considered.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
