Job description

About the team + role

We are building an elite team, applying frontier technologies to the world's biggest financial problems. We're looking for bold thinkers. Sharp problem-solvers. Builders who are wired to make an impact. Robinhood isn't a place for complacency, it's where ambitious people do the best work of their careers. We're a high-performing, fast-moving team with ethics at the center of everything we do. Expectations are high, and so are the rewards.

The Operations Platform team's mission is to design, develop, and maintain the critical infrastructure, tooling & automation needed by Customer Trust & Safety (CTS) Operations to safely protect our customers. We build scalable case management & investigation solutions that allow our operations teams to detect and mitigate fraudulent activities in real-time. We build multi-modal user experiences so that customers caught up in fraud controls have as little friction as possible getting back to normal. We also make sure that tooling and systems hold up as Robinhood launches new products and expands into international markets. Our team collaborates closely with engineering, data science, legal, compliance, and product partners to ensure high safety standards across all Robinhood products.

As Staff Product Manager, you will own product strategy across four connected areas: the Ops case-management and investigation platform, the ML/AI alert resolution models, tooling/Ops readiness for new products/geos, and the experience of customers navigating fraud controls. You will define the roadmap and system architecture that ties these together, partnering closely with engineering, data science, and Ops leadership to ship scalable, foundational solutions. This is a high-visibility role where your contributions will directly move Opex, launch readiness, and company-wide trust metrics.

This role is based in our Menlo Park, CA, New York, NY, with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.

At Robinhood, we believe in the power of in-person work to accelerate progress, spark innovation, and strengthen community. Our office experience is intentional, energizing, and designed to fully support high-performing teams.

What you'll do
  • Set the long-term vision, strategy, and priorities for the platform team supporting Robinhood's Fraud and Account Operations.
  • Own the multi-year product roadmap for the case-management and investigation tooling, to prevent complex fraud vectors and protect customer assets.
  • Drive AI-based automation of fraud alert resolution and account lifecycle claims, owning the leadership metrics tracked against these goals.
  • Reduce friction and ticket volume for customers affected by fraud controls, partnering on messaging, self-serve flows, and policy clarity.
  • Architect and implement foundational services, policies, and system controls to ensure Robinhood remains a secure, trusted platform for financial activity.
  • Partner with compliance, operations, privacy, engineering, data science, and legal teams to ship high-impact platform tools and mitigate systemic fraud.
What you bring
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8+ years of product management experience, specifically building and shipping internal tools, fraud/risk operations platforms at scale.
  • Direct experience shipping AI/ML-based automation and expertise in leveraging product analytics to guide critical product decisions.
  • Proven ability to synthesize complex, ambiguous problems into clear, executable strategies that align with overarching business goals.
  • Strong technical depth with case management systems, workflow automation platforms or risk decisioning engines.
  • High self-motivation with a track record of driving complex initiatives from conception to completion.
What we offer
  • Challenging, high-impact work to grow your career
  • Performance driven compensation with multipliers for outsized impact, bonus programs, equity ownership, and 401(k) matching
  • Top Tier benefits to fuel your work, including 100% paid health insurance for employees with 90% coverage for dependents
  • Access to the best AI tools on the market and continuous AI skill-building for every employee, technical or not
  • Lifestyle wallet - a highly flexible benefits spending account for wellness, learning, and more
  • Employer-paid life & disability insurance, fertility benefits, and mental health benefits
  • Time off to recharge including company holidays, paid time off, sick time, parental leave, and more!
  • Exceptional office experience with catered meals, events, and comfortable workspaces.
