Job description

Diversified Sourcing Solutions is looking for a Plate Roll Operator for one of our clients in the North side of Houston. The Plate Roll Operator is responsible for operating equipment that forms curves in metal plates or rolls them into cylinders, using overhead cranes for material handling and support.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Plate rolling operations — Set up, operate, and maintain plate rolling machines.
  • Overhead crane operation — Safely operate cranes and perform proper rigging.
  • Blueprint interpretation — Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and production requirements.
  • Quality monitoring — Observe machine cycles and verify product quality throughout production.
  • Troubleshooting — Identify issues and adjust machines to correct defects.
  • Safety compliance — Follow all safety protocols and operate machinery in accordance with company standards.
Essential Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 5+ years of experience operating a plate roll.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Forklift or crane certification preferred, or ability to obtain.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
COMPENSATION-$15-$18 DOE
