Heavy Plate Rolling Technician — Mobile, AL 36608

Step onto the production floor and into a role where your craftsmanship sets the pace for quality. As our Heavy Plate Rolling Technician, you’ll start your day reviewing prints and work orders, prepping the rolling machine, and shaping metal plate into precise forms that become the backbone of our products.

What a day looks like
  • Review blueprints, drawings, and work orders to understand material specs, tolerances, and sequences.
  • Set up and operate plate rolling equipment to bend and form plate to specification.
  • Continuously monitor machine performance, making adjustments to feeds, pressures, and alignment as needed.
  • Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting to keep rolling equipment in peak condition.
  • Inspect finished forms for accuracy and surface quality; correct deviations promptly.
  • Coordinate with teammates to hit production targets and deadlines.
  • Keep the area orderly and follow all safety procedures to protect yourself and others.
What you’ll bring
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machining or metalworking is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience as a Plate Roll Operator or in similar metal fabrication work within manufacturing.
  • Solid understanding of metal fabrication processes and related machinery.
  • Fluency in reading and interpreting technical documents, including blueprints and schematics.
