Forming Machine Operator Pay Rate and Hours:
  • $18 per hour
  • 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday – Friday
Forming Machine Operator Summary:
The Machine Operator will be responsible for operating a forming machine used to heat, bend, and shape pipe components. This role involves loading material, monitoring the forming process, safely handling heated parts using tools, and completing finishing and quality checks. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a heat-based manufacturing environment.
Forming Machine Operator Key Responsibilities:
  • Load the pipe into the forming machine and monitor the heating and bending process.
  • Assist in guiding material through the flame-based heating system to prepare the pipe for bending.
  • Use designated tools to remove the heated pipe once the bend is complete.
  • Place formed parts into a press to finalize shape and unload finished components.
  • Perform finishing work, including cleaning and dressing the part ends.
  • Take accurate measurements to ensure parts meet required specifications.
  • Lift to 50 lbs consistently while handling pipe and finished parts.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area while following all safety procedures.
Forming Machine Operator Qualifications:
  • Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. continuously.
  • Comfortable working around heat, flame, and industrial machinery.
