Job description

Exciting Opportunity for a Plastic Surgeon

Our organization is a prominent, innovative multi-specialty dermatology practice with over 40 locations across New York City, Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island, Long Island, Westchester, Connecticut, and New Jersey.

We are currently looking for a Full-Time or Part-Time Plastic Surgeon to join our established plastic surgery team in Nassau and Suffolk County, NY. Candidates must hold a valid, unrestricted license to practice plastic surgery in New York State.

Key Responsibilities:

The Plastic Surgeon will deliver healthcare services in alignment with the professional standards, principles, and ethics of our dermatology practice, catering to a diverse patient population.

  • Utilize cutting-edge technology, including over 100 lasers and advanced devices.
  • Collaborate with our highly skilled Cosmetic Concierge Division to enhance practice growth.
  • Participate in ongoing training for new procedures and laser technologies.
  • Work alongside three Mohs tech surgeons to manage cases requiring plastic closures.
  • Engage with over 40 dermatology providers for the removal of various skin lesions.
  • Partner with multiple Mohs surgeons for the closure of skin cancer patients.
  • Access a patient base of over 250,000 annually for cosmetic procedures.
  • Receive referrals from more than 30 dermatologists, PAs, and NPs.
  • Leverage our cosmetic concierge department to boost sales potential.
  • Participate in our excision/radiotherapy (SRT-100) for keloids, a unique service in Queens and Nassau counties.
  • Gain excellent media and PR exposure as the featured plastic surgeon on our website and in print materials.
  • Collaborate with research fellows to publish papers through the New Age Skin Research Foundation.
  • Enjoy robust support from a dedicated team in a dynamic environment that fosters research and teaching opportunities.
Qualifications:
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree.
  • Board-certified or board-eligible.
  • Valid medical license or eligibility for licensure.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced setting while maintaining a focus on patient care.
