Job Summary:
As a Plastic Injection Molding Technician, you will play a crucial role in our state-of-the-art manufacturing operations. Responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of our advanced plastic injection molding equipment, you will ensure the production of high-quality components that are essential to our product line.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate plastic injection molding machines, monitoring and adjusting parameters to maintain optimal performance
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot any issues with the equipment to minimize downtime
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
- Collaborate with the production team to identify process improvements and implement best practices
- Maintain detailed records of machine performance, production data, and quality control measures
- Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations to maintain a safe and sustainable work environment
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in plastic injection molding or a related manufacturing role
- Strong technical skills and the ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and operating manuals
- Proficient in the use of precision measuring tools and quality control procedures
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Commitment to safety and a keen eye for detail
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or training in plastic injection molding preferred
Working Conditions:
This position is based in our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, where you will work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. The schedule may include shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed to meet production demands. Some physical demands include standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and exposure to noise, vibrations, and temperature variations.
