The Molding Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operation of the molding department and its production leaders by monitoring quality, efficiency, safety, and troubleshooting. Ideal candidates will have a proven track record of leadership, technical expertise in injection molding, and the ability to maintain high-quality production standards.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday 6:30am - 3:00pm Some Weekends required.

The Position will train on 1st Shift and candidate will eventually move to 2nd or 3rd Shift.

Position Responsibilities
โ€ข Assign daily work tasks for manufacturing Associates, ensuring proper job rotation.
โ€ข Communicate priorities of daily schedule and activities to assigned Associates.
โ€ข Coordinate assigned manufacturing shift efforts to optimize workflow and associate potential.
โ€ข Directly supervise manufacturing department assigned Associates, ensuring proper procedures and safety rules/regulations are being followed.
โ€ข Ensure Shift to shift hand off and communication
โ€ข Identify equipment improvements/repairs and initiate work orders.
โ€ข Improve standard operational work and system practices.
โ€ข Initiate and participate, as needed, in internal problem solving/improvement activities.
โ€ข Interprets company policies to Associates.
โ€ข Respond to and resolve associate questions or concerns.
โ€ข Update the daily production tracking system (floor schedule) and make sure shift data input is correct and closed
โ€ข Work with Team Leaders to ensure their tasks are complete.
โ€ข Other duties as assigned by Management.

โ€ข Ability to actively participate in problem solving activities.
โ€ข Ability to apply common computer skills includes MS Excel and E-mail.
โ€ข Ability to effectively communicate verbally and written, with all levels of Associates.
โ€ข Ability to effectively plan.
โ€ข Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and system documentation.
โ€ข Ability to speak effectively before groups of Associates.
โ€ข Minimum of 4 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
