Molding Machine Operator 1st shift

We have an opportunity for a Molding Machine Operator to join our Delavan, WI team. You will perform necessary operations on a variety of plastic injection molding presses to produce quality components at a predetermined standard.

You will:

  • Perform necessary operations to mold components including proper placement and removal of inserts and removal of part from an injection molding press
  • Perform secondary operations such as removing spurs and knockouts, sonic welding, deburring, and minor assembly and packaging.
  • Perform in-process quality checks such as visual checks or run out and communicate non-conformances to appropriate Molding technical staff for correction
  • Support floor operations such as swapping resin, automatic press operation, operator breaks
  • Productivity reporting and Quality audit reporting

Key Qualifications:

  • Employees must be able to work in a team environment.
  • Experience with operation of injection molding presses
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, air tools.
  • Experience using sonic welders, drill presses, arbor presses, pallet jacks, mills, measuring equipment, and scale grinders.

Physical Requirements:

  • Light work frequently, medium work frequently.
  • Standing, walking, twisting at the waist, lifting, and lowering weights up to 40lbs. without a lift assist.

Shift/Hours:

  • 1st shift 6:00am - 2:00pm Monday - Friday
  • Overtime as needed either after shift or on Saturdays

Compensation:

The hourly pay for this role is: $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Opportunity for a rate increase after you are proficient in certain skills and have fulfilled training. Actual pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, and experience.
